Exercise tips to prevent varicose veins
Varicose veins are a problem that affects both women as men, especially those people who spend a lot of time in the same position, either standing or sitting. Did you know that physical exercises to help avoid them? That’s right, moving can be a great alternative to activate circulation and decrease the incidence of varicose veins. Walk- walk, you might say, is a complete exercise because it offers many benefits to our body in many ways. Walking we are activating blood circulation, burning calories and helping in the functioning of the heart, all this without causing great impact on knees.
Cycling- cycling can be a fun and also a great exercise for those with varicose veins. Cycling offers even less impact on the knees that walking. In addition, with the bike you can go greater distances and less time.
Elevation of the legs- whenever possible, keep your legs elevated to promote circulation and prevent swelling in the lower limbs. Put one or two pillows/Pillows under the legs, bringing your legs a bit, but not too high.
TIPS:avoid becoming too long in the same position, either standing or sitting; avoid crossing your legs while sitting not to decrease blood circulation; and also avoid shoes with very high heels.
