For all who know me it is an open secret: I love England! The country, the people, the music and the British way of life “There’s absolutely nothing that can’t be handled with good cup of tea and a biscuit!”
That’s why I was right away, of course, when I came across this magical wedding of Lee and Lauren. The two wanted an honest wedding with a real party. Although friends had warned the two, they made a lot of effort before the wedding and in many small DIY projects their feast was uniquely planned and decorated. How affectionately the two have put everything together can be seen on the emotional images, photographed by Emma case Photography.
Emma Case is a successful Hochzeitsphotografin from England, which has a penchant for alternative, extraordinary and delightfully simple weddings. This knows them skillfully and with a lot of sense to put the simple things into scene.
In this case, this is Lauren’s wild red curly splendor, her bouquet waiting to be used in a pint glass before the wedding ceremony, the cupcake tower and a wedding party in a rustic English pub–all very British! But my absolute highlight is (who would have thought) the wedding car–the classic red Decker from London. How cool is that?
But now I have raved enough… just convince yourselves!
This wedding, in which I was allowed to live my anglophile side once more, will be my last post on the bridal salad. I am breaking up to new shores and are now unsure of the Hamburg music business.
