Two New 3D

Player available from the end of the year and television produce the image of the current 3D-Kinoqualität comparable with correct colors and without headaches.

3D is coming! The 3D-Standard for Blu-ray was set in December after the interface is already defined in the autumn with HDMI 1.4. However: With available 3D images with anaglyphischer color coding and the consequent headache has the new standard to do absolutely nothing. Player available from the end of the year and television produce the image of the current 3D-Kinoqualität comparable with correct colors and without headaches.

Future 3D-Blu-rays save the perspective of the right eye (left eye = 2D-Fassung) as a differential image in the data extension of H. 264 off. Conventional Blu-rayer play like so far the H. 264-core off and thus the 2D-Fassung. Future 3D-BD-Player decode core and extension and form from two images in full HD resolution. These are then sequentially passed via HDMI 1.4 with 48 Hz on the display. This must now implement the two perspectives for its own 3D technology. Cinema-like, there are two principal ways: either shows the images in rapid succession for the two eyes alternately or simultaneously with differently polarized light. In the first case to wear an eyewear with LCD glasses that allow only light to one eye per image, in the case of other glasses with contrary polarized glasses. The result of both methods is qualitatively similar.

So anyone who would like to see 3D-Blu-rays, the sooner or later to a new player doesn’t come around, except he used the PlayStation: Sony announced a corresponding update to the CES for PS 3. Lack only nor the 3D-Blu-ray-Discs.
